What I offer:
A space for enquiry and exploration.
Mentoring in developing a relational culture in business and organisations
Coaching in developing and defining an ethical focus and in aligning ethics with action.
Creative ways of finding new solutions to sticky problems for teams or individuals.
Coaching for individuals wishing to work and live with a greater sense of purpose in this new landscape of exponential change and environmental crisis.
I work extensively with story and narrative. I do this in a variety of different ways.
First, simply, it is very useful to be able to tell a good story. It facilitates communication and understanding and will bring people along with you. It is also equally important to discriminate between narratives that may be either productive and enabling or deceptive and manipulative.
The capacity of stories to access, the symbolic world, allows new connections to be made and new thoughts to emerge. I use techniques of Social Dreaming and Social Storytelling as well as small and large group discussion and creative techniques to break down barriers and make people feel at ease.
I am a Storyteller and Group Analyst, working in the field of personal development and organisational change..
I have over thirty years experience as a psychotherapist, Art therapist and supervisor offering consultancy to NHS staff teams.
My approach has a particular combination of skills. It draws on systems theory, storytelling, group dynamics, psychodynamic and psychoanalytic theory.
My philosophy is to try and approach deep and fundamental issues in a way that is light, enjoyable and leaves everyone feeling inspired and energised.
